Our full service salon takes pride in giving your pet the best care available, treating your pet
as if he/she was our own. We offer only the best shampoos and conditioners for
every coat care need. In addition to that our pet stylists specialize in hand scissoring! Being groomed
regularly not only keeps your dog looking, smelling, and feeling great, it also helps us build a trusting
relationship with your dog. Your dog's grooming consists of a bath, brush out, nail clipping, ear cleaning,
trim and of course bows, barrettes and bandanas!
Our number one concern is your pet's well being. Our Professional Pet Stylists are certified by professional
grooming schools and will do their best to satisfy your every need.
At A Diamond in the Ruff, we make every effort to make you and your pets happy. We will make your pets grooming
appointment as enjoyable as possible. All appointments are scheduled at your earliest convenience. We believe
in a quick turnover. Most pets are here less than half the day. As Pet Care Specialists, we are committed to
providing your pet with the most updated, safe and fun techniques available. Our staff attends many animal care
lectures and training courses to provide you with the best care possible. Our drop off time is Tuesday-Friday 8:00AM-9:00AM
(you are welcome to drop off your dogs anytime after 7:00AM but please be aware that a pet stylist will not be
available until 8:00AM) and Saturdays 9:00AM. On your FIRST appointment we ask that you come between 8:00AM-8:30AM and
give ample time to fill out our grooming forms and discuss what you'd like with our pet stylist.
We pride ourselves on the fact that your dog doesn't have to stay here all day! Some dogs get nervous at the
grooming salon so we get your pets in and out as soon as they are done!

We only carry premium products for your furry family members. We do not use pesticides or dips, as they are extremely
toxic to your pets, as well as to humans. We pride ourselves in requiring a flea-free establishment. Any pet entering with
fleas will promptly be treated at the owner's expense, or will not be accepted for grooming or day care. Our grooming area and tables are equipped with
the latest innovative equipment. Each pet is carefully and thoughtfully handled throughout the grooming process by
experienced personnel. Our team attends grooming seminars and trade shows as often as possible to keep current on our
ever changing industry. We are Members of The New England Pet Grooming Professionals, The National Dog Grooming Association
of America, The Better Business Bureau, North American Doggie Day Care Association
and National Pet Sitters Association.
We adhere to the code of ethics of each of these organizations.
To keep the grooming salon as low stress as possible, we require:
- Drop-off & pick-up at specific times.
- NO pet-sitting is available and a charge may be applied to your invoice if your pet is left at A Diamond in the
Ruff day spa for more than 5 hours.
- We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an existing appointment.
Less than 24 hours notice or a cancellation left on our phone machine after regular business hours for an appointment
on the next day will result in a No Show Fee that will be applied to your next grooming invoice. If there are two
no-shows, pre-payment for an appointment may be required. We are aware emergencies can happen, and are willing to
work with our valued clients, but do reserve the right to charge for that appointment if we are unable to fill it.
We hope you will feel comfortable enough to entrust your pampered pets with us. Please note at times we are
booking one or more weeks for weekday appointments and 2-4 weeks for Saturday appointments. Regular customers
