It's Just A Bath
Have you ever wondered why Pet stylists charge so much for "JUST A BATH"? Many clients do not understand
what is involved in giving their dog a bath and we are often asked why we charge what we do for a "bath dog"
(labs, boxers, hounds, etc.)
There are many things that go into giving a dog "just a bath"…
- You're probably reading this because you figured out most dogs don't want to get in the tub at home
- Some dogs are just too much to handle in the owner's home during bath time
- There are special considerations such as lifting and/or struggling
with a big dog that resists getting into and staying in the tub
- Special shampoos (most "short haired" dogs have skin issues) and/or brushing and de-shedding
- Please keep in mind that all dogs take up cage space and drying time, whether that dog is getting a haircut or not
- Nails and ears take time to groom too
